The Brief
S4C commissioned a comedy pilot aimed at a younger adult audience. The brief called for sharp, contemporary Welsh-language comedy that reflected the reality of being in your twenties in modern Wales.
Approach
Creator Ciron Gruffydd developed a comedy centred on three characters trying to make sense of modern life. Tinint produced the pilot with a tone that balanced observational humour with genuine warmth, capturing the frustrations and absurdities of young adult life.
Outcome
Mae Llefydd Gwaeth i Farw delivered a distinctive comedy voice for S4C, demonstrating appetite for Welsh-language scripted comedy that speaks directly to a younger demographic.
