The Welsh Government commissioned an educational app through Canolfan Peniarth designed to make learning feel like play. The app needed to engage children while embedding genuine educational value in every interaction.
Approach
Tinint developed Aur am Air as a playful, intuitive experience where children learn through exploration and gameplay rather than traditional instruction. The design prioritised fun first, with educational outcomes woven naturally into the mechanics.
Outcome
The app successfully demonstrated how digital tools can make Welsh-medium education engaging and accessible, providing Canolfan Peniarth with a strong example of learning through play in action.
