The Brief
The Welsh Government commissioned Canolfan Peniarth to produce an educational app that would introduce children to the fundamentals of coding. The challenge was making computational thinking accessible and genuinely enjoyable for young learners.
Approach
Tinint produced Botio as a playful introduction to coding concepts, wrapping logic puzzles and sequential thinking into engaging gameplay. Children learn to think like programmers without ever feeling like they are in a classroom.
Outcome
Botio provided a strong Welsh-medium resource for teaching coding in primary schools, proving that computational thinking can be taught effectively through play-based digital experiences.
