The Brief
Part of the short film collaboration between S4C, the Urdd Eisteddfod and Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru, this commission invited emerging writers to create bold, personal Welsh-language drama.
Approach
Writer Martha Ifan crafted a script that explored the reality of living with obsessive-compulsive disorder. Tinint produced the film with sensitivity and restraint, ensuring the subject matter was portrayed authentically and without sensationalism.
Outcome
Dan Orfod was shortlisted for the Drama Medal at the 2021 Urdd Eisteddfod, recognising the quality of the writing and the importance of representing mental health in Welsh-language drama.
